Privacy Notice

We collect as little as we can. This page says what, why, and who else touches it.
What we collect
When you browse the free site: nothing from you directly. We do not use analytics, advertising tracking, or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard connection data (such as your IP address and the page requested) to deliver and secure the site; we do not use it to profile you.
When you buy:
- Your email address and billing address are collected by Stripe at checkout. We receive your email address so we can send your sign-in link and receipt, and your billing country so we can confirm the purchase is from the United States. We do not keep your billing address.
- Purchase details: payment reference, date, amount and status (paid, refunded, disputed). In our own access records your email is stored only as a keyed one-way code, not as the email itself; Stripe and our email provider hold the email address.
- Payment details are collected by Stripe, not by us. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation that you paid and the information needed to deliver and, if needed, refund the purchase.
When you use the handbook:
- A sign-in session: one cookie named
icoc_session, set when you sign in, marked HttpOnly and Secure, valid for up to 30 days. It is needed for the product to work, and it is the only cookie we set. - Settings and offline copies stored on your device (for example, which sections you chose to hide, and a cached copy so the handbook works offline). These stay on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- We do not track what you read.
Why we use it
To take payment, send your sign-in link and receipt, give you access, process refunds, prevent misuse of sign-in links, keep records for taxes and disputes, and answer your messages.
Who else handles it
- Stripe (payments, and tax where applicable).
- Resend (sends your sign-in link and receipt).
- Cloudflare (hosting, security, and the short-lived records that make sign-in work).
These providers handle your information to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
We send only transactional email: your receipt, sign-in links, and notices about your purchase or the handbook (such as a refund or a change to these terms). We do not send marketing email.
How long we keep it
Purchase and access records for as long as needed to give you access, handle refunds and disputes, and meet tax and accounting rules. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. You can ask us to delete your information (see below); we may keep what we are required to keep, and deleting your access record will end your ability to sign in.
Your choices
Whatever your location, you can email hivehq.mind@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within any period the law sets for your location.
Children
The handbook is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Purchasers must be at least 18.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, if we hold your email, tell you.
